Kacou 18 : Questions and Answers first part

(The questions were asked on different dates in Locodjro, Abidjan – Ivory Coast)

Q-A. No.1/ Brother Philippe, can one who does not come to confess, and who does not commit that sin anymore, be delivered?  If he does not commit the sin anymore, then it is the devil that is seducing him for the single sin is upon him as if he had committed a thousand more serious sins. Culpability and curse are attached to him and to the congregation because of him. You must not take part in a service with an unconfessed sin. It is with a pure conscience and a joyful heart that you must worship the Lord Jesus Christ. And in the assembly, you need to be a subject of blessing and not a subject of curse like Achan in the camp of Israel.

And for the public confession, let everyone confess and let there be one prayer for all those that the congregation has decided to forgive. And the sins can be even before the baptism, if that troubles you.

Q-A. No.2/ Brother Philippe, what is it of luxury?  Luxury must be banished, especially in the midnight Cry. A pastor cannot have millions in the bank while others cover tens of kilometres on foot to come to the service and have nothing to eat. Luxury must be banished for the benefit of the progression of the Word of God!

Q-A. No.3/ Brother Philippe, what does marriage consist in? We do not get married in two or three complementary phases but in only one phase. It is the father who gives or refuses his daughter in marriage, and the dowry is the only symbol of the marriage, not a ring or some paper but the dowry. And it is the ceremony of the dowry that gets marriage out of clandestinity.

And, I would like to say that I am not against the fact of going before the mayor but when you bypass the dowry and you go directly before the mayor, God cannot recognize that marriage except if the mayor is the father of your wife. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].

Well. Now if a man arrives with a concubine or a girlfriend in the Message, they must stop any sexual relation at once, before the dowry.

And if a woman has already been endowed in her life and the dowry has not been restituted and the spouse is alive, she cannot remarry unless her parents restitute the dowry of the first husband. And if you have married such a woman, know that you are living in adultery before God. If you have endowed a woman and she goes and gets married to another man, she remains your wife and the children she has there are your children even if that man has also endowed her.

And now, on marriage, I would like to say that a couple that is living in concubinage, without a dowry, does not have the right to receive the baptism except if they stop all sexual relations. The woman can be baptised while living under the roof of that cohabitee, the man who has not endowed her. But the man cannot be baptised because he is a rapacious man according to 1 Corinthians 5:11. A man who lives with a woman that he did not endow, he is a rapacious man and a rapacious man is a thief and the Bible says that thieves will not go to Heaven.

In the days of Abraham, the dowry was the seal of the marriage but when Israel became a nation endowed with all the institutions, the elders of the town, who are the type of the city hall today, were part of the witnesses of the marriage. But the Church being separated from the State, there is a civil ceremony apart from the one of the Church, to get the marriage out of clandestinity. But the marriage itself, it is the ceremony of the dowry.

Q-A. No.4 / Brother Philippe, what is it of a sin committed in a dream? And also, what is it of the Sabbath? Every dream, even from the devil, is allowed by God for a goal. So, spirit wives or spirit husbands do not exist. And if you have more and more sex acts in your dreams, then there are some sins that have not been confessed and it is this demon that is showing those scenes.

We know that every sin brings spirits in our life, that is why we must confess them to be delivered from them. Other signs point to some sins: sleeping in the congregation, long illnesses, failures and it is because of sins that we have formalistic services. And if God has granted you the grace to be strong, fast and pray for the weak, for the song leaders and the preachers.

And speaking of song leaders, song leaders must be disposed so that they may not come for a formality, but to put people in the Spirit and give to God a worship during which there are even some baptisms of the Holy Spirit, some deliverances… a worship in the old fashion. Something that guitars and orchestras cannot produce. A hope rests on them and they will not betray that. If the song leader approaches the pulpit being defiled, he is an enemy for us, seeking our death. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].

Regarding the Sabbath, we find the Seventh-day Adventists in Matthew 12:1 to 8 and John 9:16 persuading the Lord Jesus Christ to observe the Sabbath but the Lord Jesus Christ said, I am the Lord of the Sabbath. It is an old demon. Saturday was the Sabbath of the old Covenant in the blood of goats and bullocks but Sunday was the Sabbath of the new Covenant in the blood of the Lord Jesus. And we see it in Hebrews 8:6 to 8, 1 Corinthians 11:25.

The Bible tells us that it is on Sunday that the Apostle held services: 1 Corinthians 16:1 to 2, Acts 20:7… Emperor Constantine only made Sunday a day-off when he became himself a convert. And this by an edict in the year 327. Paul also attacked these legalists in Galatians 4:9 to 10. In Colossians 2:16, Paul says: Let none judge you in matter of feast, or new moon, or Sabbaths which are a shadow of things to come …

Q-A. No.5/ Brother Philippe, when must the gifts operate? Before, during and after the service, at each small pause, especially when a moment of silence is observed but not in the middle of the preaching which is also a manifestation of the Spirit. During the preaching, there must be a total respect; no "Amen!" disorderly, no one must say "Preach! Say it all! ", so on, no spectacle and animation, I say no to any human emotion. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].

When we pray, close your eyes so as not to be distracted and be disposed in the hand of the Holy Spirit. But if you pray for someone who has a demon, open your eyes. The congregation closes its eyes so as not to be distracted and take a demon that is chased out. But the deacons keep their eyes open.

So the service starts with the public confession before the congregation and after the preaching, the prayer for the sick and the deliverances and other subjects. Also, during silent prayers, you must expect the operation of the spiritual gifts.

Q-A. No.6/ This question was asked to me by Brother Darius, when I went to preach in their church in 2005 while they were still Branhamists. It was on September 4, 2005 and during the questions and answers after my preaching, he had asked me this question. He had first read in two brochures of William Branham and he said. “Mr, we bless God who has enlightened us by his messenger William Marrion Branham on the midnight Cry. Brother Branham brought us out of darkness to lead us to the light and I do not know where you want to lead us and I would point out that this midnight Cry is only good for the one who does not know the Message of Brother Branham, because all you have said is already in the brochures of Brother Branham, thank you."

He was totally breathless, he was covered in sweat and I paused and I said: “I rejoice at the fact that my Message is contained, if not, in conformity with the one of William Branham, who said himself: I preached the same Message as Paul.” And then he replied and said, "It is not in conformity!"

And I continued and said: “And as for coming out of the light, it is like the Lord Jesus who was calling the Pharisees to freedom and those ones said to Him… let’s read that:  "They answered him, We are Abraham's seed, and have never been under bondage to any one; how sayest thou, Ye shall become free"? You see? For them, Moses has already freed them from Egypt, it is over!

And when Martin Luther brought people out of darkness, who brought them back into darkness again for God to send John Wesley? And who brought the Methodists back into darkness for God to send William Branham? And if the denominations said to William Branham that they did not need a light because Paul said in Ephesians 5:8, " for ye were once darkness, but now ye are light in the Lord, …" and Paul says again in 1 Thessalonians 5:5, " for all ye are sons of light and sons of day; we are not of night nor of darkness.".  What would you say therefore, you Branhamists?

And after that, another person stood up there and he said, "During your preaching, you called us Branhamists. I would like you to rectify that because we are not Branhamists but Christians. There are Branhamists and those ones baptise or pray in the name of William Branham but we are not Branhamists, rectify that!"

And I told him, “Brother, I would like to tell you that those who are called Lutherans today do not baptise in the name of Martin Luther. As soon as they rejected the Message of the double predestination of John Calvin, that is a predestination to eternal life and a predestination to perdition, they were already Lutherans, whether they want it or not. They did not want to be called that way but their children accepted it later. Today, you have made "brother of the message" your name without knowing it, but tomorrow your children will be called Branhamists without knowing it.

Whether you baptise or pray in the name of William Branham, whether you are thunderists, para-thunderists, frankists, legalists, gracists or whatever, those are details. You are all Branhamists! There are tens of species of Baptists and those who baptise in the name of William Branham are only one species of Branhamists. Even among the thunderists, there are some branches: those who preach the mechanical thunders and those who preach the dynamic thunders.

While we are at midnight, if your faith rests on what William Branham said, you are all Branhamists, whether you want it or not, you are Branhamists. As soon as somebody is in a Catholic church, it is a sin for me to call him Christian. And as soon as somebody follows the Message of William Branham while we are at midnight and there is another prophet on the earth, it is a sin for me to call him Christian.

The Christian is one who follows Christ in His walk through the seven Church ages. When Martin Luther was on earth, those who did not believe in him were not Christians. When John Wesley was on earth, the Lutherans were not Christians. And when William Branham was on earth, the Methodists and the Lutherans and all the others were not Christians. And today, I cannot call Christian someone who follows the Message of William Branham.

The Lord Jesus Christ walks in the midst of the seven golden lamps and can never stop where a prophet has died. He walks and as long as the rapture has not yet taken place, He will walk and He will speak from generation to generation, raising up prophets on the earth until the end of the world and this is the faith of the saints.

And there was a great tumult on that day, September 4, 2005 but the grace of God prevailed and from Monday, September 5 to Sunday, September 11, the whole congregation, including the pastor and his associate, believed and was re-baptised. This speaker also believed and was re-baptised. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].

Q-A. No.7/ Brother Philippe, from April 24, 1993 to July 8, 2002, which functions did you have from the Baptist church to the evening time? Brother, I had none! I was always a mere church member. Until March 2002 when I received the order to preach, I was like the one who goes to church for the very first time.

I am thin like Apostle Paul according to 2 Corinthians 10:1 and especially poor, and how can I be something among those rich Branhamists? Somebody who does not have a high education, how can he be something among those Branhamists? I do not have the baccalaureate and I cannot enter a Protestant or evangelical pastoral school.

Q-A. No.8/ Brother Philippe, somebody says that Revelation 10:7 is not about Brother William Branham? Is that so? After the evening time, so after William Branham, which Prophet has God sent on earth to say that? Brother, if that is true then William Branham is a false prophet and all those that he mandated are false including Ewald Frank. William Branham, during all his ministry, relied upon this verse and it is in the virtue of Revelation 10:7 that he revealed the seven seals and all we know.

Brothers, I cannot be distracted by the demonstration of a small Methodist theologian, enlightened himself by the Message of William Branham. I do not believe in a ministry of correction of a prophet.

When John the Baptist said that he was Isaiah 40:3, I do not understand how the Lord Jesus Christ that he presented can come and say that John is not Isaiah 40:3. And when the Lord Jesus Christ says that he is Isaiah 61, I do not understand how Paul or Peter that he presented can come and say that the Lord Jesus is not Isaiah 61. How can Timothy come and say that Paul is not Isaiah 49:6 and you will listen to him? A son of God cannot do that.

God showed us in the preaching on: "the visions of the river Kebar and of Patmos" that the seventh star of Revelation 1:16 and the seventh Angel with the trumpet and the seventh Angel with the bowl and the seventh Angel of Laodicea were the same Angel changing ministries.

Q-A. No.9/ Brother Philippe, what should we do when we are chased away during open-air preachings? Yes, I hear that my disciples do not back away from persecutions. Brethren, we are not preaching another Gospel than the one of Jesus. It is said in Matthew … "And behold, the whole city went out to meet Jesus; and when they saw Him, they begged Him to go away out of their coasts. And going on board the ship, He passed over and came to his own city." Another passage of John says:  "They took up therefore stones that they might cast them at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple".

The great persecution will come when we are forbidden to preach this Message. So, know how to avoid obstacles because there is a long way to go. If you are chased away on this side, pass over to the other shore.

Q-A. No.10/ Brother Philippe, as I wanted to do something for God on earth and not being allowed to preach, I donated an important amount of money to a pastor whom I believed to be a servant of God. Should I go and claim that back? Yes Sister! A gift cannot be claimed back but this gift is intended to lose souls and this is why you must claim that back. But if he refuses to restitute that, leave him. You see? That is it! And Sister, it is regrettable but I praise your intention. It was so with Mary Magdalene, Susanna and many other women who were by the Lord Jesus. And may God bless you and bless all those who have such intentions on earth to the ages of ages. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
