Now I would like to answer some questions. There are two small questions that I would like to answer before starting. Welcome to all of you who are here for the first or the second time …
Well, the first question is: "Brother Philippe, the Bible says in John 5 that in Jerusalem there was a pool called Bethesda and that at certain seasons, an Angel descended to trouble it. Brother, is it an Angel of God or an angel of Satan"?
Well, You see? Put this question to any theologian, he will simply miss it. Because he will say that it is either an Angel of God or an angel of Satan. Yet the answer is that it is a perpetual sign of God to all the earth from generation to generation. You have the impression that it is only one Angel but it is not one Angel but several Holy Angels of God that descended there. And not every month or every year but at certain seasons decreed by God Himself and this pool is the pool of eternal Life, the prophetic revelation from God to a generation. There could be Catholic, Protestant, evangelical, Branhamist pools including those of Islam and Judaism … but God recognized only one pool, that of Bethesda! [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”]. And if you are a son of God, you should keep quiet and wait until, at the appointed time, according to the biblical promises and prophecies, an Angel descends from Heaven on behalf of God to trouble It. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
If a reverend, a bishop, a big prophet, a Catholic, Protestant, evangelical, Branhamist leader or a leader of Islam or Judaism troubles It, he will only pollute the pool. No matter who will trouble this water, be it Gamaliel or the greatest theologian in the world, he will only pollute this water. It needs to be an angel coming from Heaven and at the appointed time. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
If you are a chosen one and that Ewald Frank, Baruti Kasongo, Tommy Osborn or Billy Graham or the Pope of Rome troubles the Bible, you shall flee as far as you can! Apart from an Angel of God, if you throw yourself in the pool, it is death! [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
It is the same Bible, the same pool but it all depends on him that troubles It! It needs to be an Angel coming from Heaven, that is to say, a messenger of God. Angel means messenger. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”]. It needs to be first a heavenly Angel then a terrestrial Angel as you saw it on April 24, 1993 in the vision.
And while the angel is troubling It, it is at that moment you have to come there! Not after, but at the very moment while the angel is troubling the water. Whatever your sins, Daniel 12 says that you shall be purified, made white and refined. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”]. Do not wait forty years after the messenger but be in the number of the first fruits! You see?
A theologian has no right to trouble It! If somebody comes and throws himself into it with a theology degree or after a forty-day fast, stay away from that. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”]. It needs to be a living prophet messenger then somebody will make you descend into it as that infirm man says. You see?
At the burning bush, there was first an Angel then Moses made the people descend into the pool. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”]. There was first an Angel on the way of Damascus then Paul made those of his time descend into the pool. There was first an Angel at the Ohio River then William Branham made those of his time descend into the pool. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
And this pool is the whole of the promises and mysteries contained in the Bible for each generation and whose revelation is for the deliverance, purification and redemption of the elect. For example, for the seven Church ages, the Angel of the first season who troubled the water of the Word is Paul.
Then after that season, in the 2nd century another messenger came out of Heaven to come and trouble the water… and the one of our season is the one of Matthew 25:6 as you saw it in the vision of April 24, 1993. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
Prophet messengers are Angels of God. The Bible says that the prophets are Gods. A prophet is at the same time in the dimension of God, in the dimension of the Angels as a messenger of God and in the dimension of humans. You see?
Moses helped people descend into this water but he that had troubled it, it was the Angel of the burning thorn-bush. Paul helped people descend in the pool of his time but he that had troubled it, it was the Angel on the way of Damascus. Amen!
Well, the second question is: "Brother Philippe, the Bible talks about seven heavenly Angels. How does it come that there are more than seven terrestrial Angels? ".
Thank you! You do not understand how seven heavenly Angels can correspond to more than ten terrestrial messengers. But how can you thus explain that in Revelation 4 verse 7, there are four creatures that shall minister during the seven ages of the Church of the nations? If four creatures correspond to seven heavenly Angels then seven heavenly Angels will also correspond to as many terrestrial Angels as God will find it good to send. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
Well. Now let’s take our Bibles in Genesis 6:5 to 6. I want to talk about the subject: The mystery of the infallibility. May God bless you. [Brother Philippe reads Genesis 6:5 to 6]. "And Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart only evil continually. And Jehovah repented that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart."
Well, first, I would like to talk about the infallibility in Heaven with God and the Angels then of the infallibility on earth.
In the Beginning, before the foundation of the world, when there was no creature and there was no existence, if not God alone, God was infallible. Before and after God created and established his reign, when there was no devil and all the Angels were subjected to Him, from eternity to eternity, God was infallible. Satan and his angels doubted this infallibility but that did not affect the infallibility of God at all. You see?
The Holy Angels never doubted the infallibility of God. When God was creating Satan, He knew that this angel would be Satan.
And seeing Genesis 6, when the Bible says, "And Jehovah repented that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart.", you have got the impression that God was surprised by the behaviour of man.
But the holy angels and the elect will never doubt the omniscience and infallibility of God. Job did not doubt God and through the various persecutions of the Church, 68 million Christians perished before the God of Elijah. The lions tore them before the God of Meshach, Shadrach and Abed-Nego but those ones did not doubt the infallibility of God. Even in front of the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, the sons of God and the Angels of God never doubted the infallibility of God. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
In 1 Samuel 2:30, before the behaviour of the sons of Eli, God says, "I said indeed, Thy house and the house of thy father should walk before me for ever. But now Jehovah saith, Be it far from Me; for them that honour Me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed."
Now, didn’t God, by making the promise, know that they would behave that way? You see? But for us, that will never affect the infallibility of God. And thus the position of the elect and of the Holy Angels will be forever because the infallibility is not a merit but a seal. And that is incomparable with the immunity of a Member of Parliament. Amen!
Apart from Genesis 6, we can see God and the two Angels in Genesis 18 going down to check the exactitude of the rumours that had reached Him as if He was not omniscient. As though from Heaven God could not see what was happening in Sodom and Gomorrah. You see?
The second point that I would like to address is that of the Holy Angels. They are emissaries of God to us and they are as infallible as God! Let a part of them follow Satan, we believe that those who remained faithful to God are infallible. Let Satan resist Gabriel for twenty-one days, we believe that Gabriel is as infallible as God. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
And the third point is the infallibility of the prophet of God. It is actually about that I would like to talk but we cannot talk about the infallibility of the prophet without talking first about the infallibility of God and the Holy Angels from whom this infallibility proceeds.
And if the Bible is the infallible Word of God then God and the Holy Angels and the prophets from whom It proceeds are infallible. No matter the human weaknesses that they showed, they are infallible, and this infallibility is not only in the prophecy but also in their acts. You see?
And a son of God will not seek any difference between what the prophet says and what God says through the prophet.
I won’t be able to justify what the old prophets showed as behaviour but they are as infallible as God. Enoch was infallible. Be it before or after the Flood, Noah was infallible. Moses was infallible. When Noah was lying there all drunk, he was infallible. When Moses married that foreign woman while he was already married to Zipporah and had forbidden to take a foreign wife, he was infallible. Korah, Dathan and Abiram, Aaron and Miriam were offended but Joshua still saw the powerful and infallible prophet. And had not been the behaviour of Aaron and Miriam, we would not know that Moses, apart from Zipporah, had married an Ethiopian woman. And that was not an event for the children of God for the prophets are infallible! And you know that that Ethiopian woman enters directly in the Paradise of God if she keeps her position with Moses to the end for Moses had loved her.
Moses did not behave badly; even apparently, he did not behave badly. Was Moses weak? Yes before men but no before God! Could Moses be seduced? Yes before men but no before God! And so if Moses behaved that way, we must see an action of God through it. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
When Abraham was going to sacrifice Isaac or took Hagar for a wife, it was as a prophet. When David was crying on the Mount of Olives, it was as a prophet. And from among the five hundred wives of David, it is of Bathsheba that Solomon will come out.
And while several were offended by the attitude of David, God says: David is the man after my heart. You see? And taking God as my witness, I have never had such an intention towards a Sister, but you must know that a prophet messenger can do that. And this Message comes to seal the understanding of what a prophet is.
Claiming himself impure in Isaiah 6, Isaiah was infallible. Jeremiah crying in Jeremiah 20 was infallible… all the prophets were infallible.
What man calls weakness or sin of the prophet that God has sent, God does not see it that way. And of all that God created, the prophet can behave from one end to another: as God, as an Angel, as a priest, as a mere man of the people. He can act in the role of any of the ministries and charges of the Church.
While Prophet Hosea had a wife or a bride, I do not know who it was, God tells him to go and take another one to express the will of God in another way… I’m saying this because my bride is my wife but my wife is not necessarily my bride. And if she is only my wife, our souls will not get on and I will not be able to present her sincerely as being my bride […]. You see? There is a difference of words and meanings. Husband and wife. Bridegroom and bride […]. But the true Church is the Bride of Christ! [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
Well, let’s come back to Ezekiel 4, God tells Ezekiel to lie on his left side for a certain number of days… what is this? Brethren bear simply in mind that, as Jude verse 9 shows it, God cannot permit that even the dead body of him that He used may be in Satan’s hands.
And as the Jews knew, like us at midnight, what a prophet really is, that did not trouble them. Moses married an Ethiopian woman but that did not prevent the Jews from applying his Message to the point of sending back the foreign women as we can see it in Ezra 10. And John Wesley marrying a widow, a Branhamist would be troubled by it. You see?
The Message of William Branham came at a time when humanity was to be made to accept that the baptism was in the Name of Jesus Christ, that the time of miracles is not past, that the time of the prophets is not past… but what really is a prophet? A Branhamist does not know it and that is why they can walk today without a prophet. That’s what, after Revelation 4, Jesus Christ brings when He reappears in Revelation 19 as the midnight Cry, the written Word of God. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
And the prophets, whether they are of the Old or New Testament, are identical. They are the manifestation of the sovereignty of God among humans, ministering in eternity and time. They receive a delegation of the sovereignty of God being even able to cancel a marriage, separate a man and a woman supposed to be united by God. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
You see? I have always said and I’m still saying that it cannot come to pass that I sleep with a Sister or pagan woman by weakness. But the infallibility I’m talking about is more than that. It is an eternal seal. And I do not know yet if he who is infallible can weaken before a Sister or a pagan woman. You see?
Well, Peter denied the Lord three times and was reproved again by Paul but that will never be imputed to him. And it will be said that John the Baptist did not doubt the Lord Jesus Christ despite Matthew 11:2 to 3. And I have been preaching for five years now and I have never contradicted what I have preached so that anybody may get proved by it. Never have I fallen in the flesh, nor even tempted in my mind in any way either so that anybody may get proved by it.
And like William Branham in the Masterpiece, Michelangelo carved Moses, that was so perfect that he asked the statue to speak and, while he was hollering, he broke the left foot of the statue which became all the same a masterpiece and a reference in the heritages of humanity. That is what prophets of God are, masterpieces of God. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
When John the Baptist sent his disciples to the Lord Jesus to know if He were really the Christ, John was as infallible as in his first moments. Paul was infallible since the experience on the way of Damascus and bear simply in mind that God’s account is not the one of humans.
And although Abraham went towards Hagar for the fulfilment of the promise of a child, God bore the testimony through Paul in Romans 4 that Abraham did not doubt the promise which had been made to him. And although Timothy suffered from frequent bellyaches, it will be said in the report of the ministry of Paul that neither any disease nor even any bellyache resisted the prayer of Paul. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”].
When God has really sent someone on the earth, He gives him the infallibility as a seal, that is, a stamp or a postmark. But when He has not sent you, your justice, your efforts and even your sincerity are like a defiled garment! And he that can understand, let him understand!
